Volunteer Faire Participant: The Morgan Hill Downtown Association (MHDA)


In 2002, the Morgan Hill Downtown Association (MHDA) was formed to guide and manage the revitalization efforts for the heart of the city. Incorporated as a 501(c)(6) tax exempt non-profit corporation, the MHDA has a full-time Executive Director and a Board of Directors that represents key stakeholders of Downtown Morgan Hill including local businesses, residents, city government and other interested parties.

With funding from the City of Morgan Hill's Redevelopment Agency (RDA) and membership dues, the MHDA:

• Plans Promotional Events
• Offers Co-Op Advertising
• Provides an All-Inclusive Web Site
• Recruits Targeted Restaurants, Retail and Entertainment Uses
• Keeps merchants, residents and land owners informed of issues affecting downtown
