The American Cancer Society is at work in communities all across the country providing programs aimed at reducing the risk of cancer, detecting cancer as early as possible, ensuring proper treatment, and empowering people facing cancer to cope and maintain the highest possible quality of life.
We have volunteer opportunities for:
1. Drivers - assist w/ cancer Patients by giving them transportation to & from treatment centers
2. Callbacks volunteers - make follow up calls to patients
3. Community events volunteerss- man the Society's table at health fairs
4. Speaker Bureau - do seminars on cancer awareness at corporate sites, schools, community centers.
5. Office volunteers - help w/ office projects/ front desk coverage.
