Volunteer Faire Participant: South County Housing

South County Housing has built nearly 2,700 homes since it was founded in 1979. Our earliest project provided housing for low-income farm worker families in Gilroy, CA. Over time, our service population has broadened to include seniors, families in transition, people with disabilities and families with children. We’ve partnered with 480 families to build self-help homes where they contributed their labor, supervised by construction professionals from South County Housing.

Mission
The Mission of South County Housing is to promote viable neighborhoods that enhance healthy, sustainable communities by collaboratively providing affordable housing and neighborhood services.
